Journal of clinical and medical case reports of surgery places strong emphasis on the peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and validity of articles published across its journals. Peer review has been a cornerstone of scientific communication for over 300 years, serving as a vital mechanism for maintaining scholarly standards. We employ a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. This approach promotes unbiased evaluations and maintains the integrity of the review.
All submitted manuscripts are initially assigned to a member of our editorial board, who then selects qualified external reviewers based on their academic credentials, expertise, and experience with similar research. The final publication decision rests with the editor, who considers the reviewers' feedback before making a determination.
The peer review process typically takes a minimum of 21 days. Upon completion of the review and editorial decision, accepted manuscripts are published in multiple formats. We are always open to expanding our pool of expert reviewers. If you are interested in contributing as a reviewer, please follow the link below to learn more or apply.
